I just saw Rocky Balboa again. This quote, is sooooo well known. And I love it so much.

Rocky Balboa: Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!

Be responsible to your own life, it can be the most scary thing. You're choosing how to live. You're making decisions. You're living. You can't blame anyone for anything. And that's exactly why when you get to where you wanna go, the fulfillment can be beyond your imagination.

Take risks, take chances. A wise man told me today,

"You can live with the pain from your failure. But you can't live with the pain of thinking 'what ifs', and ' how it could have'. "

Keep it in mind, you're better than that. You're greater than that. God has put what you need, it's up for you to use them.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the world, wheather you're mother or grandmother or future mothers, Happy Mother's day.

My mother isn't perfect, but no one can beat her when it comes to loving me and my sister. She loves us both dearly, more than anything. She only wishes the best for both of us. She wants us to be happy. She always says, "As long as you're happy, I'm happy." She's that kinda person. I love her to death. Even though I'm not the perfect daughter, not even close, she doesn't care. I can't even go see her right away, it'll take at least a day(for I live in oversea) to go see her. But as long as I'm happy, it doesn't matter to her.

I love her to death. Thank you mom for helping me become who I am.

Be Eager to Learn

Last few days, things have been changing. I've realized that I've been really lazy at least past 5 years. I can't believe that I've spent so much time being lazy, even though I thought I wasn't. It's not  I was sleeping 12 hours a day, watching TV for the rest of the days sitting on the couch kinda lazy. I've worked 5-6 days a week. I made enough money to survive. What I mean is that I haven't been learning or evolving as a human being.

When you're in school, you have to learn. You're there to learn. And 90% of the time, you don't realize that it's a previlage to learn. It feels like you HAVE to go to school, you HAVE to do your homework, you HAVE to read your books... you feel like you are forced to do all those things. But the truth is that all of those are PREVILAGES. It doesn't matter what subject it is. It can be English, or Math, or Art, or P.E.. It can be anything!

Once you're out in the REAL WORLD, you have to make a conscious choice to learn. You have to want to learn. You have to be open to learning. You have to realize that anything in the world is your teachers, when you have the will to learn.

Right now, there are so many things that I want to learn!!!! I can't pick one!!! So, I'm planning on learning everything. not all at once, but maybe little by little, I will learn. I might not be able to always afford to take classes or seminers. But it won't stop me. Plus, luckily enough, I was born in this era, where you can learn pretty much everything from INTERNET!!!!!! isn't that crazy??/

Do you remember the movie "Goodwill Hunting"?? He learned things from the books in the library for FREE!!!! and he was smarter than most of the college students! So you see? There are resources everywhere for you to learn.

Keep learning, be curious, be open.

Contagious Smile

Do you know that smile is Contagious???? Because we smile to make each other happy. Happy feelings are meant to be shared. A smile of a little baby is so precious and genuine. And doens't that make you wanna smile? Doesn't that make you feel warm and happy??  It's just so beautiful.

Spread love, spread smile, spread happiness!!!! Even when you're not in a mood, just smile and say hi to each other. That's gonna make you wanna smile, like, really smile.

If you can be someone else's blessing or inspiration, how great would that be?!? And you will be. You never know. Always be positive and kind to others and to yourself.

A friend of mine who has a beautiful soul always inspire me. She's kind, funny, and loving. She fights for great cause. She works hard for her dream. I love her so much. She has the warmest and biggest smile when I see her.

And funny enough, she tells me that she's inspired by me. Isn't that funny!?

You never know who's watching. I'm not saying that we should always be "pretend" nice all the time. That's just fake. But when you are kind and honest to others, and to yourself, you might be someone else's inspiration or blessing. Be someone's blessing.
